If you're talking about a specific game's ST, backup your config using Xim Manager (there's a copy button in every config), delete the config, then recreate it from scratch.

That should install the latest version of the ST, then Paste your settings back in.

Was following these instructions: http://xim4.com/community/index.php?topic=51474.0

"BF1 now offers an in-game 'stick deadzone' setting under controls->advanced. This value should be set to '22' (default) on both platforms.

BF1-X1 support has been updated to .2. X1 Users will need to download the latest support using Manager then create a new BF1 config. Verify the version by clicking the center of the game picture in the HUD screen. PS4 users are not affected by this change."

I downloaded XIM4 Firmware Tool 20170103 for PC and followed the instructions that mist4fun described.
It flashed and I have the correct firmware installed. This of course wiped out the configs so I recreated a BF1 profile and when I click the picture I still have the BF1-Hip-X1.1*

Why do the instructions call for a Factory Wipe. aren't we updating?
This is very confusing.

Please go to "Globals" in Manager and click on the button to force download latest games support. After that, you'll need to create a new BF1 config.

Thank you sir. Not sure why that didn't work the first time. I now have a X1.2 displaying.
